The deepest point in the world’s oceans is the Challenger Deep, located in the Mariana Trench in the western Pacific Ocean. It reaches a depth of approximately 10,984 meters (36,037 feet). The trench is one of the most extreme and least explored areas of the ocean. Its depth is so great that Mount Everest could easily fit within it. Challenger Deep has been the subject of scientific expeditions, but due to the extreme pressure and difficult conditions, it remains largely unexplored.
