How do seagulls live?
- ๐๏ธ 12
Seagulls are medium to large seabirds found in coastal areas worldwide, although some species also live inland. They are omnivorous and opportunistic feeders, eating fish, invertebrates, and discarded food from humans. Seagulls are known for their loud calls and aggressive behavior, especially when scavenging food. They are highly social birds, often forming large colonies in nesting areas. Seagulls are skilled at flying long distances and can soar in the air using thermal currents. Mating occurs in the spring, with females laying 1-3 eggs in nests built on cliffs, rooftops, or other high places. Both parents incubate the eggs and care for the chicks until they are ready to fly and forage on their own.
