How do crocodiles hunt and capture prey?
- 👁️ 36
Crocodiles are expert hunters, using stealth and strength to capture their prey. They often lie motionless in the water, blending into their environment with only their eyes and nostrils visible. When an unsuspecting animal comes close, the crocodile strikes with lightning speed, using its powerful jaws to grab and hold onto its prey. Crocodiles have incredibly strong bite forces, capable of crushing bones, and they often perform a “death roll” to disorient or tear apart their catch.
