How do cheetahs live?

  • ๐Ÿ‘๏ธ 4

Cheetahs are large cats native to sub-Saharan Africa and parts of Iran. They are the fastest land animals, capable of reaching speeds up to 70 mph in short bursts. Cheetahs live in open savannas, grasslands, and semi-arid areas, where they primarily hunt small to medium-sized ungulates, such as gazelles. They are solitary animals, with males and females living separately except during mating or when a mother is raising her cubs. Cheetahs are known for their exceptional speed, which they use to chase down prey after stalking them from a distance. They are not great at climbing and prefer to stay on the ground where they can use their speed to their advantage. Cheetahs reproduce sexually, with females giving birth to 3-5 cubs after a gestation period of around 90 days. The cubs are raised by their mother and are vulnerable to predators during their early months.
