- ๐๏ธ 8
The Arctic Circle is located at approximately 66.5 degrees north latitude. It marks the southernmost boundary of the area where, at least once a year, the Sun does not set during the summer solstice or rise during the winter solstice. The region within the Arctic Circle includes parts of eight countries: Canada, Denmark (via Greenland), Finland, Iceland, Norway, Russia, Sweden, and the United States (Alaska). This area is characterised by extreme cold, unique ecosystems, and iconic wildlife such as polar bears and Arctic foxes.
