Why do clouds float in the sky?

  • 👁️ 8

Clouds float in the sky because they are made up of tiny water droplets or ice crystals that are suspended in the atmosphere. These droplets are so small that they do not fall to the ground immediately. The air within the cloud is also warmer and less dense than the surrounding air, which allows the cloud to remain aloft. Clouds form when warm air carrying water vapour rises, cools, and condenses into these tiny droplets or crystals. The balance between upward air currents and the weight of the water particles keeps them floating.
