Why do we have seasons?

Seasons occur due to the tilt of the Earth’s axis, which is inclined at an angle of about 23.5 degrees relative to its orbit around the Sun. As the Earth orbits the Sun, different parts of the planet receive varying amounts of sunlight at different times of the year. This results in changes in temperature and daylight hours, creating the four seasons: spring, summer, autumn, and winter. For example, when the Northern Hemisphere tilts towards the Sun, it experiences summer, while the Southern Hemisphere experiences winter. This axial tilt, combined with Earth’s elliptical orbit, creates the seasonal variations we observe.
