How do beetles live?

  • ๐Ÿ‘๏ธ 30

Beetles are one of the most diverse groups of animals on Earth, found in nearly every ecosystem. They can be herbivores, carnivores, or detritivores, with species feeding on everything from plants to other insects or decaying organic material. Beetles vary greatly in size and behavior, with some species being solitary and others living in large groups. They undergo complete metamorphosis, meaning they pass through egg, larva, pupa, and adult stages. Beetles are often highly adapted to their environment, with many species having specialized structures for defense, such as hard shells or the ability to spray chemicals. Reproduction involves mating, after which the female lays eggs in suitable habitats where larvae can grow and develop.
