How do sun bears live?

  • ๐Ÿ‘๏ธ 24

Sun bears are the smallest species of bear, found in the tropical forests of Southeast Asia. They are omnivorous, feeding on a variety of foods, including fruits, honey, insects, small vertebrates, and plants. Sun bears are primarily nocturnal and spend much of their time foraging for food in trees and on the forest floor. They are solitary animals, with males and females coming together only during the mating season. Sun bears are excellent climbers, using their strong claws to scale trees in search of food. They reproduce once a year, with females giving birth to a single cub after a gestation period of about 95-110 days. Cubs stay with their mothers for about 2-3 years.
