What is the function of the human skeleton?

  • ๐Ÿ‘๏ธ 8

The human skeleton serves multiple important functions, including providing structural support for the body, protecting vital organs (such as the brain, heart, and lungs), and allowing movement through the attachment of muscles. The skeleton also stores and releases minerals, like calcium and phosphorus, and produces blood cells in the bone marrow through a process called haematopoiesis. Additionally, it plays a role in maintaining the bodyโ€™s shape and stability, enabling us to stand and move efficiently.
