Where is the deepest part of the ocean?

  • ๐Ÿ‘๏ธ 11

The deepest part of the ocean is the Mariana Trench, located in the western Pacific Ocean. The deepest point of the trench is known as Challenger Deep, which reaches a depth of about 10,984 meters (36,037 feet). This extreme depth makes the Mariana Trench the deepest oceanic point on Earth. The trench is formed by the subduction of the Pacific Plate beneath the smaller Mariana Plate. It is home to unique ecosystems, with species specially adapted to survive under extreme pressure, low temperatures, and complete darkness.
