How do planes stay in the air?

  • ๐Ÿ‘๏ธ 9

Planes stay in the air by generating lift, a force created by the shape of their wings (airfoils). As air moves over and under the wings, it travels faster over the curved top surface, creating lower pressure compared to the higher pressure beneath. This pressure difference lifts the plane. The engines provide thrust to overcome drag and propel the aircraft forward. Pilots use control surfaces like ailerons, rudders, and elevators to manoeuvre the plane. Modern aviation combines these principles with advanced technology for safe and efficient flight.
