How do snow geese live?

  • ๐Ÿ‘๏ธ 11

Snow geese are large waterfowl found in North America, particularly in the Arctic tundra and northern regions of Canada and the United States. They are herbivores, feeding on grasses, seeds, and roots during the summer months, and on agricultural crops in the winter. Snow geese are migratory birds, traveling long distances from their breeding grounds to their wintering areas. They are highly social and live in large flocks, which can number in the thousands. Snow geese reproduce once a year, with females laying 3-5 eggs in a ground nest. Both parents take turns incubating the eggs, and the goslings are able to walk and swim shortly after hatching.
