How do water buffalo live?

  • ๐Ÿ‘๏ธ 4

Water buffalo are large herbivores found in Asia, Africa, and some parts of Europe. They primarily live in wetlands, river valleys, and swampy areas where they can cool off in the water. Their diet consists of grasses, aquatic plants, and other vegetation, which they graze on throughout the day. Water buffalo are social animals, often living in herds led by a dominant female. They are domesticated in many parts of the world, used for plowing fields and producing milk. In the wild, water buffalo reproduce annually, with females giving birth to one calf after a gestation period of about 10-11 months. Calves are cared for by their mothers and other females in the herd.
