How do zorillas live?
- ๐๏ธ 7
Zorillas, also known as striped polecats, are carnivorous mammals found in sub-Saharan Africa. They are solitary and nocturnal creatures that hunt small mammals, birds, insects, and amphibians. Zorillas are known for their powerful odor, which they use as a defense mechanism to deter predators. They live in burrows, often those abandoned by other animals, and are excellent diggers. Zorillas reproduce once a year, with females giving birth to 2-4 kits after a gestation period of about 40-50 days. The kits are cared for by the mother until they are old enough to fend for themselves.
