How do rabbits live?

  • ๐Ÿ‘๏ธ 12

Rabbits are small herbivorous mammals found in a variety of habitats, from grasslands to forests, and are widely distributed around the world. They are social animals, often living in burrows or warrens, where they create complex tunnel systems to protect themselves from predators. Rabbits primarily feed on grasses, herbs, and leafy plants, and they need to eat a large amount of food daily to maintain their energy levels, as their diet is high in fiber and low in nutrients. Rabbits are prey animals and are constantly alert to danger, relying on their speed and agility to escape predators. They reproduce quickly, with females giving birth to multiple litters of 3-12 babies after a short gestation period of about 30 days. Baby rabbits, called kits, are born blind and hairless, but they grow quickly and start venturing out of the nest at around 3 weeks of age.
