How do penguins stay warm in freezing temperatures?

  • ๐Ÿ‘๏ธ 15

Penguins are perfectly adapted to survive in the frigid conditions of the Antarctic and other cold regions. They have a thick layer of blubber beneath their skin that acts as insulation, trapping heat close to their bodies. Their feathers are dense and waterproof, preventing cold water from reaching their skin. Penguins also huddle together in large groups to conserve heat and can adjust their behavior to minimize heat loss, such as by reducing movement during extreme cold.
