How do house cats live?

  • ๐Ÿ‘๏ธ 27

House cats are domesticated carnivores that have adapted to living with humans in homes and urban environments. They are territorial and spend a significant portion of their time hunting small animals such as mice, birds, and insects. Cats have excellent night vision and are solitary hunters, typically hunting alone or in small groups. While house cats are primarily fed by their owners, they still exhibit hunting behaviors, such as stalking and pouncing. They are known for their grooming habits, spending several hours a day cleaning their fur. Mating occurs in spring and fall, and after a gestation period of about 63-65 days, the female gives birth to 1-8 kittens, which are cared for by the mother until they are weaned.
