How do canaries live?

Canaries are small, colorful songbirds native to the Canary Islands, Madeira, and the Azores, though they have been introduced worldwide. They primarily feed on seeds, fruits, and vegetables, although they may also consume small insects. Canaries are social birds, often living in flocks in the wild, and they are known for their melodious songs, especially during mating season.
