How do canaries live?

  • ๐Ÿ‘๏ธ 6

Canaries are small, colorful songbirds native to the Canary Islands, Madeira, and the Azores, though they have been introduced worldwide. They primarily feed on seeds, fruits, and vegetables, although they may also consume small insects. Canaries are social birds, often living in flocks in the wild, and they are known for their melodious songs, especially during mating season. They build nests in trees or shrubs, where females lay 3-5 eggs, which they incubate for about two weeks. After hatching, the chicks are fed a diet of regurgitated food until they are old enough to eat seeds on their own. Canaries are also popular pets due to their beauty and vocal abilities.
