How do brown bears live?
- ๐๏ธ 8
Brown bears are found in North America, Europe, and parts of Asia, living in a variety of habitats, including forests, mountains, and tundra. They are omnivores, feeding on a broad range of food, including berries, plants, fish, and mammals. Brown bears are solitary animals, with each individual establishing a large home range. They are excellent swimmers and climbers and often forage along rivers and lakes. Brown bears are known for their seasonal behavior, with many hibernating during the winter months, relying on stored fat reserves. They reproduce once a year, with females giving birth to 1-3 cubs during hibernation. Cubs stay with their mother for about 2-3 years before becoming independent.
