How do ducks live?

  • ๐Ÿ‘๏ธ 10

Ducks are waterfowl found in a variety of habitats, including freshwater lakes, rivers, ponds, and coastal marshes. They are omnivores, feeding on a wide range of foods, including aquatic plants, small fish, insects, and seeds. Ducks are social birds and often form flocks, especially during migration. They are excellent swimmers, using their webbed feet to paddle through the water. Ducks are also known for their quacking sounds and distinctive waddling gait. They reproduce seasonally, with females laying eggs in hidden nests, which they incubate for about 28 days. After hatching, the ducklings are cared for by the mother until they are able to swim and forage independently.
