How do falcons live?
- ๐๏ธ 17
Falcons are birds of prey found worldwide, living in a wide range of habitats, from forests to deserts and even urban environments. They are carnivores, primarily hunting small to medium-sized birds and mammals. Falcons are known for their incredible speed, particularly the peregrine falcon, which can dive at speeds of over 200 miles per hour when hunting. They usually hunt alone, using their sharp eyesight to spot prey from great distances. Falcons build their nests in high places, such as cliffs, trees, or man-made structures, and lay 2-4 eggs. Both parents participate in raising the young, feeding them prey until they can hunt independently.
