How do frogs live?

  • ๐Ÿ‘๏ธ 14

Frogs are amphibians found in a variety of habitats, including freshwater ponds, lakes, swamps, and rainforests. They are carnivores, feeding on insects, worms, and other small invertebrates. Frogs have a unique life cycle that starts with eggs laid in water, which hatch into tadpoles. As tadpoles, they have gills for breathing, but as they mature, they undergo metamorphosis, developing legs and lungs for terrestrial life. Frogs are highly vocal, using calls to attract mates and establish territory. During breeding seasons, male frogs call loudly to attract females. Frogs are mostly nocturnal and can survive dry spells by burrowing into mud or finding water sources.
