How do raccoons live?

Raccoons are medium-sized, nocturnal mammals found in North America, Central America, and parts of Europe. They are highly adaptable and can live in a variety of habitats, including forests, urban areas, and wetlands. Raccoons are omnivores and feed on a wide range of foods, including fruits, nuts, small animals, insects, and human food waste. They are known for their dexterous front paws, which they use to manipulate objects, open containers, and catch food. Raccoons are social animals and often form loose groups, although they typically live alone. They are excellent climbers and swimmers and are often seen foraging along riverbanks, in garbage cans, or even in attics. Raccoons reproduce sexually, with females giving birth to 3-7 kits after a gestation period of about 63 days. The kits are cared for by the mother until they are old enough to fend for themselves.
