How do magpies live?

  • ๐Ÿ‘๏ธ 6

Magpies are highly intelligent birds found in Europe, Asia, and North America, often living in open woodlands, grasslands, and urban areas. They are omnivores and have a varied diet that includes insects, small vertebrates, seeds, and fruit, as well as human food scraps. Magpies are known for their complex social structure, with some species living in large flocks, while others are more solitary. They are skilled at building nests, often in tall trees, and are known for their shiny, iridescent feathers. Mating occurs in the spring, and magpies are monogamous, often forming lifelong pair bonds. The female lays 3-7 eggs, which are incubated for about 2 weeks before hatching.
