How do gazelles live?
- ๐๏ธ 6
Gazelles are herbivorous antelopes found in grasslands, savannas, and deserts across Africa and parts of Asia. They are known for their grace and speed, which help them evade predators. Gazelles feed primarily on grasses, shrubs, and leaves, often grazing in herds to find food and avoid danger. They are social animals and live in groups called herds, which can range from small family units to large mixed-species herds. During the mating season, males compete for females, often using their sharp horns in battles. Female gazelles give birth to one calf after a gestation period of about 6-7 months. Calves are able to stand and run shortly after birth to keep up with the herd.
