How do hawks live?

  • ๐Ÿ‘๏ธ 9

Hawks are birds of prey found in a variety of habitats, from forests and grasslands to urban areas. They are carnivorous, primarily feeding on small mammals, birds, and reptiles. Hawks hunt by soaring high in the sky and spotting prey with their keen eyesight. They swoop down to capture their prey with powerful talons. Hawks are solitary birds, often establishing territories that they defend from other birds. They build nests in trees or on high ledges, where they lay 1-5 eggs. Both parents help incubate the eggs, and once the chicks hatch, they are fed with a diet of meat until they are able to hunt on their own.
