How do wallabies live?
- ๐๏ธ 40
Wallabies are small to medium-sized marsupials found in Australia, Tasmania, and nearby islands. They are herbivores, feeding on grasses, leaves, fruits, and shrubs. Wallabies are primarily nocturnal and tend to live in forests, woodlands, and open grasslands, where they can find plenty of vegetation to graze on. They are social animals, often forming small groups, although some species are more solitary. Wallabies reproduce once a year, with females giving birth to a single joey after a gestation period of about 28-40 days, depending on the species. The joey stays in the mother’s pouch for several months before emerging and becoming independent.
