How do baboons live?

  • ๐Ÿ‘๏ธ 8

Baboons are highly social primates found across sub-Saharan Africa and parts of Arabia. They live in large troops that can range from a few individuals to hundreds. Their diet is omnivorous, consisting of fruits, seeds, leaves, insects, and small animals. Baboons are known for their complex social structures and have a clear hierarchy within their groups, with dominant males leading. They communicate through vocalizations, body language, and facial expressions. Baboons reproduce sexually, with a gestation period of around six months, typically giving birth to one infant. Females often care for the young, while males protect the troop.
