How do ferrets live?

  • ๐Ÿ‘๏ธ 6

Ferrets are small carnivorous mammals that are often kept as pets but also live in the wild, particularly in Europe and parts of North America. They are inquisitive and playful animals, typically living in burrows or dens, where they seek shelter and sleep during the day. Ferrets are obligate carnivores, primarily eating meat such as small rodents, birds, and eggs. They are nocturnal hunters, spending their nights foraging and playing. Ferrets are social creatures and often live in groups, although pet ferrets can bond closely with their owners. They reproduce sexually, with females giving birth to litters of 3-7 kits after a gestation period of about 6 weeks.
